Oi gente! I’m Jack – owner of Salt Dodgy’s, California native and Sacramento resident. My better half of 10 years is a Brasileira and thus our decade long search for authentic Brazilian food has become more than a hobby.

While visiting Rio de Janeiro, my wife’s parents taught me to make some delicious docinhos e salgadinhos / sweet & salty bites. Since being back home, I’ve remade the classic Brazilian recipes and made iterations on classics that are inspired by my upbringing, seasonal foods, and creativity in the kitchen. These treats have been a hit at my house and the catalyst for Salt Dodgy’s.
